Current R&D Activities:
Presently involved in the safety evaluation of finished plastics and flocculants. Based on the Research and Development studies of our group on the safety assurance of the plastic and polymeric materials suitable specifications have been developed and updated for testing of products used in packaging and storage of food materials, drugs, life saving fluids, cosmetics, transportation of water, etc.

Awards/Honours/ Distinctions:
Awarded Certificate of Accomplishment by Central Water Commission, Govt. of India for providing training to CWC personnel during July 11-13, 2002.

Awarded ISCA Best Poster Presentation Award in the section of Material Science during 90th Indian Science Congress held at Bangalore. January 3-7, 2003.

Appointed as Associate Editor for the Journal of Ecophysiology and Occupational Health w.e.f. October 1, 2004.

Ms. Priyanka Ojha, Proj. Asst. was awarded 2nd Best Poster entitled "Glass fibre reinforced plastic ka swasthya ki drishti se suraksha mulyankan" Priyanka Ojha, C. S. Ojha and V. P. QMS Lead Auditor for ISO 9000:2000 under registration with Management Systems Institutes, Noida (Cert. No. 26-30 Oct'05/NOIDA/04 dated 31st October 2005).

HACCP Lead Auditor Course (IS 15000/ISO 22000) under registration with National Institute of Training for Standardization (NITS), Bureau of Indian Standards, NOIDA scheduled from 12th to 16th June 2006.
